Billie Eilish, Kacey Musgraves + More Donate Items For 'Girls Rock' Auction

Female artists spanning all different genres are banning together to donate signed memorabilia, concert experiences, gear, and other items for the massive Girls Rock Reverb Gives Auction. The weeklong sale launched May 21 and runs through May 28 and can be accessed via Reverb's official website. Proceeds from the auction will benefit ten nonprofits that empower female, transgender, and gender non-conforming youth through music.

Of the many awesome items up for sale are a Stevie Nicks-autographed Sennheiser microphone and a Billie Eilish-signed Fender ukulele. Other participating musicians include Kacey Musgraves, Joan Jett, Dolly Parton, Patti Smith, Mavis Staples, Kelly Clarkson, Tegan and Sara, Reba McEntire, Regina Spektor, Chvrches, Lucius, Elle King, Tash Sultana, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, Norah Jones, Charli XCX,Bonnie Raitt, Loretta Lynn, Annie Lennox, Sharon Van Etten, Cat Power, Alison Mosshart (the Kills, the Dead Weather), Ani DiFranco, the Indigo Girls, Kimbra, Evanescence, Little Big Town, Lita Ford, Fergie and James Taylor.

Singer-songwriter Linda Perry, who's donating an acoustic guitar gifted to her by Natasha Bedingfield, spoke of the auction's importance in a statement. “I want young girls to know that there are so many ways that they can contribute to the music industry,” she said. “They can be producers, writers, CEOs, and managers. There are very powerful positions in the business that need to be filled by powerful young women.” Of the guitar she's donating, she added, “It has written many songs all over the country and in different parts of the world. I hope the energy inspires someone to write something incredible.”
