Bam Margera continues to struggle with addiction and found himself back in jail this week after violating probation.

As local newspaper Main Line Media News reports, the Jackass star was arrested in Needmore, Pennsylvania on Monday (September 16) for suspicion of driving under the influence and other summary violations, including a violation of Margera’s six-month probation sentence issued in June when he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct stemming from an altercation with his brother.

According to court records, Margera was taken into custody on Wednesday (September 18) and is currently in Chester County Prison awaiting a “violations of probation/parole” hearing on Monday (September 23). As of Friday (September 20), he had not been charged.

“We are in the process of straightening this all out. Just like every citizen in this country, Mr. Margera is presumed innocent,” his attorneys, Adam Leasure, Michael T. van der Veen, and William J. Brennan, said in a statement.

The 44-year-old reality star has been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for years. In 2023, Margera's former Jackass costar Steve-O begged him to get sober. “I wish you could know how much I’ve hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you’re making it clear that I have no other choice,” he wrote in a since-deleted comment on Instagram. “You’re dying, brother, and it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you.”

Margera has been in and out of rehab numerous times revealed he was "basically pronounced dead" while hospitalized in December 2022.
