Netflix 'Squid Game' Mobile Game Coming Next Month

Netflix has announced a December 17 release date for its new mobile game "Squid Game: Unleashed," based on the popular Korean drama-thriller. The game will be available on the Netflix app, with pre-registration now open for players to compete for a virtual prize pot of 45.6 billion Korean won. The game features "Squid Game-esque" challenges with cartoonish violence, including players being flattened by buses and sliced up by buzz saws. The release date of "Squid Game: Unleashed" precedes the premiere of "Squid Game" Season 2, which follows Player 456 as he returns to the survival game with new participants.
