The 2025 Stanley Cup Final kicks off with a new promo featuring Linkin Park's hit single "Heavy Is the Crown" as the soundtrack. The promo shows the Stanley Cup trophy sinking underwater surrounded by fish, while a hockey game and a Linkin Park concert take place above the water. The song, which was a No. 1 hit on Billboard's Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, is also the anthem for Riot Games' League of Legends World Championship. Linkin Park recently performed ahead of the UEFA Champions League final and will start their world tour on June 12. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers aired on TNT, with the series also available on SN, CBC, TVAS, truTV, and Max.
