Actress and model Babi Christina Engelhardt is claiming that she and Woody Allen had an eight-year affair. According to Engelhardt, their relationship started when she was just 16 years old in October of 1976, after she gave him a note with her phone number on it as a star-struck fan of the “celebrated genius.” From there, she says they maintained a secret relationship, eventually engaging in threesomes, including with his ex Mia Farrow, in his fifth avenue penthouse.
Engelhardt says she was a “pleaser,” that her participation in their romps came “from a place of devotion.” The threesomes with other “beautiful young ladies” were “interesting” to her, but Engelhardt admits she “felt sick” once she was introduced to his “new girlfriend,” Farrow. “I didn’t want to be there at all, and yet I couldn’t find the courage to get up and leave,” she has written in one of her private memoirs, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
But Engelhardt tells the mag that her experience shouldn’t be judged like other #MeToo stories. “I’m not attacking Woody. This is not ‘bring down this man,’” she notes. “I’m talking about my love story. This made me who I am. I have no regrets.”
